Local beauty Dai-Lynn Finnis (18) was crowned Face of South Africa, as well as second princess, in the Miss Junior South Africa category of Pageants SA recently.
At the event that took place from 29 June to 2 July in Pretoria, she walked the runway in evening wear that she had designed and created herself.
Other titles that Dai-Lynn also won are Miss Princess World SA and Miss Junior South Africa Free State.
She is the brand ambassador for On Point Lifestyle and enjoys charity work. She spent 67 minutes on Mandela Day, Monday (18/07), with the children of CHOC House.
“It was overwhelming and blissful at the same time,” Dai-lynn said about earning her titles.
“I really have to thank everyone who helped, as we were judged on grooming and how we carried ourselves during pageant walks.”
Sade Jansen also helped her with her pageant wardrobe.
- Pageants SA was started in 2000 by Carolyn Baldwin.
Over the past 22 years over 8 000 winners have been crowned in various Pageants SA events, and together with the winners and title holders over 500 000 charity events have been organised and held, thereby helping over 4 million people who have benefitted to date.
