There is still space available for talented young people to be part of the I am Young creative project.

Willie Venter, producer and creative director of I am Young, says it is a project for young people from 8 to 35 years old to empower them in the performing arts by exposing them to song, dance, music, performance and production work.

Those selected for the programme, will attend a workshop of two weeks. Professionals will guide them in each aspect of performance.

Venter stresses that this initiative is not competitive in nature and is an opportunity to develop talent in Bloemfontein.

After the two week workshop, participants will take part in a gala event, Moments – I am Young, on Saturday, 22 July, at 18:00 at Leopards & Lace.

Tickets for this production will cost R100 and are available from Quicket.

Those interested can enter until Thursday, 15 June, for I am Young.

Send enquiries to Venter on 083-765-9227 or Ella Kotze on 083-452-4043.
