Mimosa Mall is rolling out the red carpet once again for one of its most popular signature events – the Central Star Talent Competition.

Now in its third year, Central Star has grown into one of the largest talent showcases in Central South Africa, drawing gifted performers from across the Free State.

Following the overwhelming success of the 2023 and 2024 editions, the stage is set for another unforgettable celebration of creativity and community spirit.

Entries are officially open, and the invitation is clear: if you have a talent, this is your moment to shine.

The competition is open to all ages and all talents, and there are no entry fees. Singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, comedians, and anyone with a unique skill are encouraged to step into the spotlight. “This is more than just a talent show. Central Star is a space where inspiration, recognition, and fun come together to create a memorable experience for everyone involved,” says Neelofar Issa, General Manager of Mimosa Mall.

At stake is the Grand Prize – a R20 000 Mimosa Mall shopping voucher.

Key Dates:

  • Entries close: 31 August;
  • Top 30 live auditions: 20 September at Mimosa Mall;
  • Top 20 announced: 26 September on Mimosa Mall’s social media platforms;
  • Public voting: 26 September – 12 October;
  • Top 10 revealed: 13 October; en
  • Final live show: 25 October in the Mimosa Mall main atrium;
