Cheerleaders gathered at the Fichardtpark High School on 3 June to compete in the Free State Majorette and Cheerleading Competition.
The two teams of Fichardtpark, the All Girls Large and Co-ed Large teams, both won in their category.
They qualified for the national competition in Durban, which will be held during the school holiday, from 1 to 8 July. Here they will compete against the best teams in the country.
In 2022 both teams won bronze medals at this competition.
The teams are working hard for when they will compete on 7 July, in hopes of reaching the finals on 8 July.
As part of their fundraising project to help with the travel costs, performers Early B and DJ Justin Vega will be live at Bobbies Park on Friday (23/06).
