Another successful Bloem Classic body building competition was held during Bloem Show on 29 April.

During the event, athletes competed in The contest had various categories and saw several local athletes claiming top spots.

At this year’s Bloem Classic, a category for physically challenged athletes was introduced, which Phanuel Musumali, from Lusaka in Zambia, won.

Top Bloemfontein athletes are:

  • Moeketsi Moses, who placed second in the masters over 40 and 50 category;
  • Petri Jacobs, who won the men’s Bermuda model category, placed second in men’s sport model and won the men’s aesthetic body building;
  • William Motingo, who was second in men’s Bermuda model and third in men’s fitness body building;
  • Karin Hanekom, who was the winner in the ladies transformation challenge and third in ladies sport model;
  • Sterna Kruger, who was second in the ladies transformation challenge;
  • Adri de Beer, who was third in the ladies transformation challenge;
  • Berche Steyn, who was second in ladies figure, and the winner in ladies sports model;
  • Dries McNicol, who was winner in men’s athletic Body building and third in men’s aesthetic body building;
  • Katlego Princess Mongale, who was second in ladies sport model;
  • Pieter Roux, who was third in men’s sports model, and winner in men’s denim jeans model; and
  • Clarise Eke, who was the winner of ladies bikini model and won the Ms Glamour category.
