During the current heatwave, why not try this easy-to-make jelly spritz to cool down?

It only takes ten minutes to prepare, while you must wait approximately four hours for the jelly to set and freeze.

Ingredients

½ box (20 g) raspberry flavoured jelly

14 pieces of fruit of choice, plus extra to garnish

4 cans (200 ml each) Schweppes Lemonade Flavoured Drink

Fresh herbs of choice (optional)

Method

1. In a medium-sized jug, dissolve the raspberry flavoured jelly powder into one cup of boiling water and set aside to cool slightly.

2. In a 14-hole ice-cube tray, add the fruit of choice to each ice-cube hole along with any fresh herbs.

3. Fill the ice-cube holes with the jelly mixture and freeze for four hours or until fully set.

4. Add three to four jelly ice cubes to a glass and top it with Schweppes Lemonade Flavoured Drink.

Garnish with extra fruit and herbs and enjoy.
