Awards have been presented to archers who excelled at events of the Free State Archery Federation (FSAF).
During a function at Tuff Top on Saturday (05/03), several archers received colours and recognition.
Indoor achievers
Archers who were presented with awards for indoor shooting are:
- Jacques (Wally) Waldeck, compound men 50+;
- Petrus Swanepoel, compound men 50+;
- Emile Botha (FSAF manager);
- Kobus Barnard, compound men 50+ (gold);
- Guillaume Pelser, compund men (silver);
- Katelyn Muller, compound girls U10 (gold);
- Dewald Arpin, recurve men U18 (gold); and
- Sunnette Smal, recurve women 50+ (bronze).
Target archery achievers
The following archers received FSAF colours and Free State Sport Confederation (FSSC) colours for target archery, 720 round:
- Koos de Wet, compound men;
- Franco de Wet, compound men U18;
- Ignatius de Wet, compound men U18;
- Kobus Barnard, compound men 50+;
- Sunnette Smal, recurve women 50+;
- Guillaume Pelser, compound men; and
- Jacobus Botha, compound men U18.
