Three players from the Free State were included in the South African emerging men’s cricket team that will play against Zimbabwe in four-day and one-day matches.
Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Saturday, 27 July, announced a 14-player South African Emerging Men’s squad for the tour to Zimbabwe from Thursday to 17 August.
The Knights players Dian Forrester, Nipho Mpungose and Lesego Senokwane were included in the team that will play its first four-day match from 1 to 4 August at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo; and the second match from 4 to 10 August.
The one-day matches at the same venue will be on 13, 15 and 17 August.
The squad departed for Zimbabwe on Monday.
