The wonderful voices of the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir will ring out from the sportsfield of the Willem Postma Primary School in Bloemfontein on Friday, 1 November in the yearly Carols with the Stars.
This event, sponsored by Pick n Pay Preller Walk, will be presented from 18:00 with choirs from Willem Postma as well as the Vitae Cantamus Choir from Eunice High School that excelled at the ATKV Applous Competition, singing before the boys take the stage.
Enter to stand a chance to win a Suzuki S-Presso 1.0GL M/T by shopping at Pick n Pay Preller Walk for R200 or more and place your till slip in the boxes provided outside the store. Customers only have a chance to enter for the competition until Thursday, 31 October at 20:00 at the store.
The winner will be drawn at the Carols-event, and entrants can only qualify to win if they attend.
The Drakensberg Boys’ Choir just returned from a very successful tour in Europe. Over the years, the choir has been privileged to perform for queens and presidents in full stadiums and at intimate gatherings in caves.
The magic of this music will bring a world-class experience to the audience in Bloemfontein. The choir’s repertoire and range are unsurpassed. Audiences enjoy the Drakensberg Boys Choir’s top-class classic choral works and equally dance in the aisles to the rhythm of their Afro-Pop genres and well-known iconic South African works.
Everyone is invited to the free event – just bring non-prerishables that can be handed in at the shopping trolleys at the entrance to the Willem Postma sports field. Three charities will receive this gift from the public.
Bring your chairs and blankets, warm jackets and picnic baskets and come and enjoy the beautiful Carols and sing-a-longs on Friday.
