Former Bloemnews editor now working for Boland Media, Ben Burger, was inducted as president of the 41er Association of Southern Africa at the association’s 53rd annual conference and annual general meeting held in Cape Town on 3 September.

The 41ers is an association for former members of Round Table who left the organisation in good standing at the age of 40 as per Round Table’s constitution.

A total of 60 delegates and their partners, as well as 15 members form the Young Ambassadors Programme (kids or grandkids of 41ers) attended. Representatives from South Africa, Austria, Belgium, Botswana, Denmark, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Zambia attended the conference.
