The Sunflower Children’s Hospice, in collaboration with the Hotel School at the Central University of Technology (CUT), Free State, is hosting a Madhatters High Tea Party at One on Park Gourmet Restaurant on 15 March.
This hotel school restaurant is known for high teas with delicious eats and treats.
This is a fundraiser and awareness event aiming to raise funds for a high-care baby room at Sunflower House; also, to hopefully buy an oxygen concentrator machine for the hospice.
Werner Schmidt is the master of ceremonies, motivational speaker and minstrel musician.
Guests are invited to wear a hat to stand a chance to win a prize in the Madhat Competition. There will also be a micro auction.
The menu consists of arrival drinks, followed by scones with jam and cream, beautiful handmade eats and decadent sweets.
Tickets cost R250, or R2 500 for a table of ten.
Book before 10 March by contacting Elsa Vermeulen on 083-391-8328.
