Matric learners start exam with a reasonable English paper

The first paper of the National Senior Certificate exam that started today, were not too difficult for some of the learners of the Eunice High School in Bloemfontein that Bloem News spoke to.


The first paper of the National Senior Certificate exam that started today, were not too difficult for some of the learners of the Eunice High School in Bloemfontein that Bloem News spoke to.

Maulize van der Linde, Bianca Edwards and Caytlyn Bekker said the English First Langauage first paper that they wrote this morning, was not too bad, but they think there was not enough time.

They say there was a lot to complete in one paper.

Also Megan Pelser mean the paper was not too bad, but time was an issue.

Maulize said their next big paper is on Wednesday when they will write Afrikaans, but mostly they are worried about the first paper on Mathematics on Friday.

The premier of the Free State, Mxolisi Dukwana, and members of the executive council of the Free State visited schools accross the country before the learners started off on their national exam to whish them well.

Dukwana visited the Kagisho Comprehensive School in Phahameng, Bloemfontein.

The National Senior Certificate Exam will run until the last papers in early December.
