The Shadow Association Council of Round Table Southern Africa (RTSA) held its planning meeting in Bloemfontein from 26 to 28 November. Shadow Assco, as the meeting is affectionately known, has been hosted by Bloemfontein’s Round Table 25 and Round Table 158 since 1989, except for one year in the early 2000s. During this meeting, the incoming executive committee and the 14 incoming area chairmen plan their year ahead, which starts in April. It is also a platform for shaping lifelong friendships. Fourth from the right in the front row is Louis Radley from Bloemfontein, who is a vice-president candidate for the RTSA, and to his right is Werner Swanepoel, vice-president of the RTSA with the rest of the Shadow Association Council after their meeting.
