The second event of the Secret Artists Club will be hosted on Mother’s Day on 12 May, with a special theme, “Scent of a Woman”.
The celebration will be held at the Onze Rust Estate, starting at 11:30 for 12:00.
Musicians who have been billed to perform include Claire Rontch (saxophone), Jada-Ruth Cloete and Giselle Venter (vocals); as well as Pro Strings as the house band featuring Linda Mngoma (bass), Celeste Venter (cello), Diandra Steenekamp (violin), Ilane van Wyk (viola) and Petro Engelbrecht (piano, accordion and guitar).
Those in the audience who attended the Evening in Casablanca will remember the exceptional Jada-Ruth. She is back on stage as she shares her love for music with classics like “Natural Woman” and “Summertime”.
Tickets cost R400, and a lunch will be served to guests.
