Former World Fitness Federation (WFF) Ms Universe and professional figure athlete Hende-Mari Strydom was appointed as the new continental president of WFF Africa. Hende-Mari owns Zooz Lifestyle and is a former teacher at the St Michael’s School. She also completed a bachelors’ degree in hospitality management in 2006, an MBA degree in 2017 and is now pursuing a PhD in business at the University of the Free State (UFS).
She is organising this year’s Bloem Classic Bodybuilding Competition that forms part of Bloem Show.
The competition will take place on 29 April.
“First-time athletes are welcome to enter for the competition,” she encourages.
