The Free State leg of the Frogfoot Rugby Sevens Tournament Series will be played at Hoërskool Sentraal in Bloemfontein on 2 September.
Following the success of its inaugural sevens schools rugby series, which was designed to showcase the talent of U17 players from 150 schools from around the country, Frogfoot has announced a revised and expanded competition that will bring the opportunity of playing to more youngsters.
The final 2022 tournament witnessed more than 2 500 schoolboys from across the nation passionately participating in an effort to book their place in the pinnacle of the event, Champions Day, which took place at the Pretoria fortress, Loftus Versfeld. This was won by the Secunda High School.
This year’s final fixture will again be played at Loftus Versveld in Pretoria, on 14 October.
