The Harrismith police are urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating a missing 17-year-old girl, Diane Fourie, who has not been seen since Monday 17 November.

Diane, a resident of the Hope House Child Youth Care Centre, left the facility on Monday morning dressed in her school tracksuit to sit for her exams but never returned.

Authorities believe that Diane may be in the company of her biological mother, Desse Adams.

“We are concerned for Diane’s safety and well-being,” says Capt. Vusimusi Zwane.

The police are urging anyone who may have seen Diane or has information on her whereabouts to contact Capt. Zwane on 060 976 4290, or to call Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
