A search team of the police are looking for Sade Shakira Steenbok, a 18 year old gr 12 learner from the Sand du Plessis High School in Bloemfontein.
Shakira was last seen by her mother, Dipelelo Lorraine Steenbok, on Tuesday, 18 July at around 07:00 when she left for work.
When Dipolelo returned home to their house in Kagisanong at 16:10, she found Shakira was not home as usual. Shakira’s carry bag and some of her clothing was missing.
The police searched the house and discovered a bus ticket bought in Shakira’s name. The bus was to depart from Bloemfontien to Johannesburg on 14 July. They learned that Shakira boarded a bus leaving for Johannesburg on 18 July at around 22:00. Since then Shakira has not been heared from.
The police are requesting any member of the public that have knowledge about Shakira’s dissapearance, to contact sergeant Godfrey Motsoai at 082-465-5945.
