Fast, fun and energetic sevens rugby was expected when the third Frogfoot Sevens Tournament took place at the Sentraal High School on Saturday (03/09).
The tournament series started in August and will be extended to several more schools in September and October before the final match on 5 November in Pretoria.
This sporting event is designed to create a platform for U17 players and to unearthing potential across the country.

A total of 13 schools (some of which some entered more than one team) from Bloemfontein and Kimberley, as well as towns across the Eastern Cape, took part on Saturday.
Bloemfontein teams were from Sentraal, Grey College, Sand du Plessis High School, THSHTS Louis Botha THS, Fichardtpark High School and Jim Fouché High School.
The winners were in diffirent categories were:
- cup – Grey College;
- plate – Fichardtpark;
- bowl – HTS Louis Botha THS; and
- shield – Diamantveld High School.
