The world championships in freestyle dance will be presented for the first time in three years, in Blackpool, England.
A large group of dancers from Bloemfontein will be representing South Africa at the event, presented from Friday (24/06) to Sunday.
Some of the top-ranked dancers in the country, with up to four titles at national level, are in this group. They are Bailee Forster, Chanel Vorster and Junior Dilape. The Bloemfontein group consist of 16 dancers who represent four dance schools in the city: Dance Domination Senicia du Toit (DDSdT), Dance Domination Manulani Cohen (DDMC), Dazzling Dance Studio (Dazz) and Just Dance (JD).
The South African Dance Teachers’ Association (Sadta) Free State has commended all its dancers who qualified and will be representing South Africa on the world stage.
“We wish you all the best,” said Senicia du Toit-Breytenbach, Sadta Free State vice-chair.
