South African singer-songwriter Luna Paige is billed to perform live in the Free State capital of Bloemfontein as part of her nationwide tour, dubbed Coming Home.
She will perform at the Iewers Nice restaurant in Westdene on 6 November, and will share the stage with the Belinda and Amy Band as guest performers.
Luna kicked off her tour on 4 October, following on the success of her three-month journey through Europe.
The songstress’ tour abroad saw her perform at selective venues in, amongst others, the Netherlands – promoting her double album, Dis die dorsandHarmony.
She released the album, featuring both English and Afrikaans songs, in April this year.
It includes the nostalgic songs “Kiss of Africa”, “If I Were a Song”, “Middle class shoes”, “Die baadjies wat ons dra” and “Circle of witches.”
The tour offers members of the music fraternity the chance to experience Luna’s music in its most raw and authentic form.
Apart from touring Bloemfontein, Luna decided to take her Coming Home tour to the Western Cape, North West, Gauteng and Eastern Cape.
Luna shares stories about her travels along the Spanish Camino, the West Coast of Portugal, the East Coast of Italy, the countryside of southern France and the Greek islands; the rich history of Athens; and inspirational art experiences in the Netherlands.
Tickets for the show on Wednesday are available at R200 at the Iewers Nice in Reid Street.
