Passionate supporters at the Bloemfontein’s Boktown tour rally additional support for the Springboks against Italy.

The Springboks have support from all angles in today’s super-charged clash against Italy at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria. Additional support is from passionate South Africans at the Bloemfontein’s Boktown tour celebrating the Springboks’ 30 years of winning the coveted Rugby World Cup in 1995.

That first-ever victory has propelled the mighty Boks to continue writing their own chapter in the world rugby – winning the Webb Ellis Cup four-times – surpass New Zealand three times winners (1987, 2011 and 2015) and Australia twice (1991 and 1999). The Springboks, the reigning world champions have extended their dominance, lifting the coveted trophy in 2007, 2019 and 2023.

He was a member of the 1995 Rugby World Cup winning squad, playing in one match and was also a member of the 1999 Rugby World Cup squad.

BokTowns celebration tour is fit for celebrating the achievements and to inspire the reigning champions against the visiting Italians in today’s battle for supremacy in world rugby. It is offering a festival-style match day experience for passionate Springboks supporters.
