A 23-year old suspect was arrested for burglary and theft of a motor vehicle in Langenhoven Park on Sunday.
According to police spokesperson Lt Col Thabo Covane, the man was arrested by the Bainsvlei Police after a complaint was received of a man who jumped over a wall in GA Watermeyer Street and entered a premisis.
A patrol car was dispatched and police officers arrested the trespasser.
When the suspect was searched, police found the keys of a Volkswagen Golf on him.
This car, that was previously stolen, was found earlier by the police and the keys matched that of the blue VW. The police also found two stolen cellular phones on the suspect.
The man will appear in the Bloemfontein magistrate court on charges of theft of a motor vehicle and burglary.
