Bloemfontein swimmers performed well at the South African Short Course Swimming Championships held in Pietermaritzburg from 25 to 28 September.
Anieke Helmand won bronze in the 50m freestyle − placing 6th in the 50m breaststroke, 7th in the 100m medley, 12th in the 100m freestyle, and 19th in the 200m freestyle.
Evie du Plessis (13) swam in the open category and was 8th in the 800m freestyle and 12th in the 1500m freestyle.
