Students at the University of the Free State (UFS) will be registering online in 2022, with senior students being able to register from Monday (17/01).
As in 2021, the process will be conducted fully online. The university will not allow walk-in applicants, as the deadline for applications for admission has expired.
Registration and academic advising have started for senior students in the Faculty of Health Sciences. All other senior students will register from 17 to 31 January. Registration and academic advising for first-year students will take place from 1 to 11 February.
Important dates
- 10 to 31 January: online registration for senior students (Faculty of Health Sciences only);
- 17 to 31 January: academic advice and online registration for senior students;
- 31 January: lectures start for honours students (unless communicated differently);
- 31 January to 14 February: online registration for first-year students (Faculty of Health Sciences only);
- 1 to 11 February: academic advice and online registration for first-year students;
- 14 February: start of classes and the academic year starts; and
- 31 March: last date to cancel modules with financial credit, as well as the last date for registration of master’s and doctoral students.
